DIRE AUTREMENT : un dictionnaire de reformulation pour les apprenants du français langue seconde
This research project lead by Dr. M.-J. Hamel of the University of Ottawa and Dr. J. Milicevic of Dalhousie University aims to develop an online tool for second language learners of French. The project’s primary focus is on the acquisition of collocations and the use of paraphrasing via a dictionary-like web application.
I participated in the development of this dictionary early on as a research assistant, analyzing corpora and developing lexicographic entries. In 2010, I was the lead developer of the online prototype of the dictionary.
