After two years as an associate editor with the French Graduate Association’s scholarly journal (SESDEF, University of Toronto), I took over as chief editor in 2011 and decided that the way the association published its yearly conference proceedings needed to change. The previous method was a haphazard affair, a series of plain and disparate web pages that did little to promote the journal’s role in publishing quality research papers. I therefore took it upon myself to design a completely new website in CSS/HTML and jQuery, which allowed us to republish previous articles in a far more coherent and cohesive manner, while also making the publication of future content easier.

I am no longer part of the association, but I hope those who now manage it will take advantage of the site’s redesigned format.
